Silver award for Mehiläinen's work environment in the Workspace Design category
The high-quality, hotel-like work environment we designed for Mehiläinen is the silver winner in the Commercial Interior Design / Workspace Design category. The new shared office has less square footage than before but is more flexible and offers a variety of space types for focused work, collaboration and hybrid meetings. The hotel feel is reflected in the quality and softness of the materials and the atmospheric lighting. Special attention has been paid to finishes and details. The aim was to create an elegant, high-quality office that fosters a sense of community.

Kalasatama Library's success continues
Kalasatama Library of The City of Helsinki has already received national and international recognition and is now the silver winner in the Cultural / Community Interior Design / Libraries / Learning Spaces category. The new Kalasatama Library is an experiential and holistic spatial art that lives and breathes in a world where each of us wants to be free. The citizens involved in the design process wanted the library to be a joyful, playful and inspiring space amid the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The result is a dreamlike space that encourages visitors to discover something new, let go of the familiar, and redefine the ordinary.

Honourable mention for Unity's Helsinki office
The Unity Helsinki office received an honourable mention in the Commercial Interior Design / Workspace Design category. The renovated 4,100 square metre Unity Helsinki Office is a vibrant art-focused hybrid office that combines nature with the needs of a modern workspace. The project challenges traditional notions of office design and re-imagines the workspace as a holistic environment that supports employee well-being. It aims to be a home away from home for people from all over the world. Combining elements of nature, a curated selection of Finnish art, flexible workspaces and a variety of social spaces, the space became a welcoming office promoting creativity, well-being and collaboration.
